With more than 13 years of experience as an optometrist, Dr. Heather Deere provides general eye care and co-manages glaucoma, ocular disease, inflammation, trauma, retinopathy, laser surgery, and cataracts.

Before joining Ophthalmic Consultants of the Capital Region in 2007, Dr. Deere treated patients at The Eye Institute Pediatric Clinic and at the Philadelphia Veteran’s Association Hospital.

EDUCATION

Dr. Deere graduated cum laude from Siena College and then received her Doctor of Optometry degree at Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2003.

Dr. Deere is a board-certified optometrist and a member of the American Optometric Association and the New York State Optometric Association.
