Surgical Scheduler

To perform all job functions in a courteous and professional manner consistent with the mission and goals of Ophthalmic Consultants of the Capital Region. Primarily responsible for scheduling ophthalmic surgeries at the ambulatory surgery center and local hospitals in accordance with the practice’s policies and procedures.

Ophthalmic RN

To perform all job functions in a courteous and professional manner consistent with the mission and goals of Ophthalmic Consultants of the Capital Region. Primarily responsible for timely patient contact to obtain medical information and perform a variety of tests, including but not limited to injections, prior to the doctor seeing the patient.

Technician – Level 1

To perform all job functions in a courteous and professional manner consistent with the mission and goals of Ophthalmic Consultants of the Capital Region. Primarily responsible for timely patient contact to obtain medical information and perform a variety of tests prior to the doctor seeing the patient.

Ophthalmic Scribe

To perform all job functions in a courteous and professional manner consistent with the mission and goals of Ophthalmic Consultants of the Capital Region. Primarily responsible for medically assisting the doctor and accurately documenting patient examinations in their chart.

Medical Receptionist

To perform all job functions in a courteous and professional manner consistent with the mission and goals of Albany Troy Cataract & Laser Associates, PLLC. Primarily responsible for providing excellent customer service to all patients by utilizing an in-depth knowledge of the organization’s policies and procedures.

Cornea Specialty Experienced Ophthalmology Technicians/Scribes

Ophthalmic Consultants of the Capital Region will be adding a new Cornea Specialty program to our multi-specialty practice in June 2019.  If you are interested in transferring your skills and possibly learning other specialties too, like Medical Retina & Surgery, Medical Glaucoma & Surgery, and Neuro-ophthalmology, we have it all here. We have five full-time locations within the Capital Region.

Ophthalmic Counselor

To perform all job functions in a courteous and professional manner consistent with the mission and goals of Ophthalmic Consultants of the Capital Region. Primarily responsible for timely, initial patient contact from the main reception area to perform a variety of tasks, including but not limited to; auto-refraction, glasses neutralization, visual field testing,  and/or scheduling/prepping patients for in office laser procedures.
